The company is also accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) as a Skilled Development Provider (SDP) to offer Occupational courses and trainings in Management Accounting, Bookkeeping and Corporate Finance as part of Skills Transfer Programmes (STPs) to private and public sector learners and employees.
The company is a B-BBEE level 1 contributor established in 2017 by a sole director, with vast years of industry experience in Corporate Finance & Accounting, Risk Management and Strategy, who holds an Associate Membership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK) and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) by profession as well.

Daniel Mupfigo (ACMA, CGMA)
Meet Daniel, the founder, and Managing Director of DSM Finance & Risk Solutions (Pty) Ltd based in Roodepoort. Daniel founded this company in September 2017 with the initial intent to serve small to medium enterprises in managing their finances and operations through specific interventions in their bookkeeping, finance & cashflow management, cost management, taxation, information technology, and risk management processes. The company has seen a slight growth over the years and has expanded its business portfolio to offer Training services, through DSM Academy, accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK). It has also offered advisory services to various public sector institutions.
Daniel has steered the company’s growth through his experience which spans more than 15 years in the corporate financial and cost management field gained in various industries including Tourism & Hospitality, Finance Consulting, IT, Professional Services (Recruitment), Education, Government Institutions and Medical Equipment Manufacturing. He has worked for a JSE-listed company and an international company on various management accounting roles.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Honours Degree from Midlands State University of Zimbabwe (MSU) and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA). He holds also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA). The same Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK) institution also conferred him with a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting.
Daniel is a registered Tax Practitioner with SARS and is currently pursuing his final SAICA board course (APC), looking forward to qualifying soon as a Chartered Accountant, CA(SA).

Wilson Saurombe (HND, ND and NC ACCOUNTING)
Meet Wilson, Training Director of DSM Finance and Risk Solutions (Pty) Ltd based in Roodepoort. Wilson has been running Intellectideas a training and IT consulting company since February 2020. Intellectideas serves small to medium enterprises in training and IT solutions. DSM Finance and Risk Solutions (Pty) Ltd has seen a slight growth over the years and has expanded its business portfolio to offer Training services, through DSM Academy, accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK). It has also offered advisory services to various public sector institutions.
Wilson has steered the company’s growth on the training division through his experience which spans more than 18 years in the corporate and public institutions in various industries including Tourism & Hospitality, Finance Consulting, IT, Professional Services (Recruitment), Education, Government Institutions and Medical Equipment Manufacturing. He started his career at the Comptroller and Auditor General of Zimbabwe for five years before moving to South Africa where he has worked for several training companies as a Facilitator and rose through the ranks to Moderator and Quality Assurance Manager.
Wilson holds a Higher National Diploma equivalent to BTech Degree in Accounting, National Diploma in Accounting and National Certificate in Accounting.
Wilson is currently pursuing a Business Administration Degree with the University of The People in the USA with the intention to do a MBA with the same University.
